Our Portfolio

This project features a Spanish Colonial style landscape that complements the architecture. Many of the plants are drought-tolerant, which is ideal for the climate in Southern California. The masonry planter walls mimic the stucco of the architecture while tropical porphyry cobblestone flatwork and fountain tile add an array of textures and colors to the landscape.

This project includes both softscape (planting / drainage / irrigation / lighting) and hardscape elements. The contemporary theme of the landscape is balanced with modernist architecture. The Corten steel planters contrast with the lighter stucco while blending with the woodwork hues.

All existing hardscape underwent renovation, including resurfacing the pool and adding new pool coping.  The tropical landscape plant design complements the contemporary architecture of the home.  The cabanas, edible gardens, kids’ playhouse, fire features, waterfalls and a chicken-coop are just some of the landscape elements adding uniqueness to this property.

This garden incorporates a Mediterranean plant palette combined with a colonial Spanish style architecture.  Fountains, travertine and precast concrete complement the architecture while the plant design enhances the style of home.

This project was located on a slope overlooking the La Jolla hillside. The landscape has tier steps which allow access to all areas of the hillside while reflecting a more natural look. The plant palette incorporates drought tolerant plant material and the drifts of succulents contrast beautifully with the lighter stucco walls.

Travertine patio installations, skilled woodwork and landscape lighting combined with a Spanish style plant palette creates a wonderful environment for entertaining into the evening hours.

Brick inlays, precast concrete, and decorative pots blend to form an English/Mediterranean formal garden. Low-voltage landscape lighting, including pathway lights, recessed wall lights, up-lights, and floodlights, along with fire features, extend the property’s usability into the evening hours.

The project reflects a French-cottage style mixed with Mediterranean plant design and hardscape elements. Integrated terracotta tile installations around the pool and home entry create an “old world” Mediterranean garden aesthetic while adding contrast in color and variations in texture to the landscape. Meandering pathways wind through the vineyard and citrus groves, while water features create soothing sounds of water throughout the garden.
